LessonApp had the pleasure of participating in FinFest 2025, held in both Ankara and Istanbul in November 2025. The event, organized with the support of the Embassy of Finland in Ankara and coordinated by N.E.T Academy, brought together a vibrant selection of Finnish edtech companies and introduced them to a wide Turkish audience. FinFest created a dynamic platform where edtech companies, education experts, innovators, and Turkish stakeholders could meet, exchange ideas, and explore possibilities for future collaboration.

The festival took place at the Social Sciences University of Ankara on November 2–3 and continued at Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul on November 7–8. More than 200 Turkish institutions were represented, and the participant group included teachers, school leaders, school administrators, entrepreneurs, and education enthusiasts. In total, hundreds of representatives from both Finland and Türkiye joined the event, making it one of the most significant recent gatherings for cross-border educational cooperation.
Across the world, education systems are working hard to adapt to the rapidly changing demands of the 21st century. As traditional, rote-based models lose relevance, approaches that emphasize creativity, active participation, and learner engagement are becoming increasingly essential. Educators everywhere are searching for practical, easy-to-use tools that help them bring modern pedagogy into everyday classroom practice.

For LessonApp, FinFest offered a valuable opportunity to meet potential users and partners, learn about the needs of Turkish educators, and build meaningful connections with a wide range of stakeholders. The event clearly demonstrated that LessonApp resonates with teachers in Türkiye, supporting them in designing more motivating, interactive, and student-centered lessons. The positive feedback we received confirmed that our approach aligns well with the pedagogical direction many Turkish schools are striving toward.
We are excited to continue the collaborations initiated during FinFest and look forward to deepening our partnerships with Turkish schools, educators, and organizations. The enthusiasm and openness we encountered were truly inspiring.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, shared insights, and engaged with us throughout the event. It was a pleasure to meet you, learn from you, and imagine the future of education together. Your dedication to shaping meaningful learning experiences in Türkiye is remarkable — keep up the great work!
